What is Signature MD?

Signature MD is a private bilingual medical clinic in Ottawa focused on providing more personalized, accessible, and coordinated healthcare. Our approach gives clients more time with their healthcare team, convenient access to services, and a strong focus on preventive health.

When will Signature MD open?

Signature MD is currently undergoing renovations and is expected to open before the end of 2026. In the meantime, we are building our waitlist for prospective clients interested in joining the clinic.

How can I join the clinic?

Complete our online form to join our waitlist. A member of our team will contact you shortly to answer your questions and provide additional information about the clinic.

Once the clinic is ready to open, we will contact you to schedule a meet-and-greet so you can visit the clinic, meet our team, and determine whether our approach to care is right for you.

How much does it cost?

There is an annual fee for our uninsured services, with the option to pay monthly or annually. Full pricing details will be explained during the initial phone call.

What does the annual fee cover?

The annual fee covers a range of personalized services that are not covered by OHIP, including an annual comprehensive health assessment, InBody body composition assessment, certain forms and certificates, prescription renewal services when appropriate, on-site blood collection, and concierge support with appointments, referrals, and follow-up.

What is included in the Annual Comprehensive Health Assessment?

The assessment is approximately two hours and is designed to provide a detailed picture of your current health and identify potential risk factors.

Approximately one hour is spent with a nurse and may include a detailed health history, vital signs, on-site blood collection, ECG, hearing and vision screening, InBody body composition analysis, Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI), medication review, vaccination history, and review of recommended preventive screening.

You will then spend approximately one hour with your physician to review your medical history and assessment findings, discuss your health concerns, complete a physical examination as appropriate, and develop a personalized plan for your care.

Are physician appointments covered by OHIP?

Medically necessary physician services that are insured by OHIP continue to be billed to OHIP. The clinic’s annual fee applies to uninsured services and is separate from OHIP-insured medical care.

Is Signature MD bilingual?

Yes. Signature MD provides care in both English and French. Our goal is to allow clients to communicate about their health in the language in which they feel most comfortable.

Can my family join Signature MD?

Yes. Signature MD provides family medicine services for adults, children, and seniors. Multiple members of the same family can express interest in joining the clinic.
